Derrick is a 2016 graduate from The Ohio State University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While attending school, Derrick was able to work closely with the Ohio State Sports medicine team and with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization during spring training through clinical internships. He has a passion for treating all orthopedic diagnoses, especially the knee, ankle and shoulder. He utilizes both manual skills and therapeutic exercise to build tissue resiliency in order to return patients to pain free activities. Derrick also understands the importance of further education and plans to advance his clinical skills by pursuing an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification.
Outside of work, Derrick enjoys fishing, hunting, snowboarding, boating, and hiking.
